Pubs of Oxford
Oxford has a grand history through its university and colleges, but it also has a wealth of characterful and pleasant pubs. Rob is an enthusiastic and regular visitor to many of them and hence a highly qualified guide. He was also the founder of CAMRA in Suffolk. His talk focuses on the city centre covering an interesting selection of pubs: old and new, popular and quirky, large and small. His talk provides a little history, a smattering of architecture and an admixture of anecdotes. It also touches on brewing in Oxford. Drinking alcohol during this talk is permitted and usually enlivens the question session.
