You can't go wrong with Rob as a guide.

Review of: Oxford Official University & City Tour

We took the 1pm tour on Saturday 26. Rob was our guide and arrived on time. Genuinely nice guy, polite and always smiling. The tour was 2 hours long, and he shared a lot on interesting facts about the city. A few jokes here and there, and a nice walk around the city made this a wonderful experience.

Would totally recommend.

Extremely enjoyable and informative literary tour  (October 2021 Tripadvisor)

Rob is a wonderful tour guide and clearly a knowledgeable Tolkien/Lewis expert. It was great learning all about Oxford's rich literary history from him; we especially appreciated his warmth and sense of humor. The content of the tour was fascinating for both the casual and dedicated fan alike, and Rob even included bits of Harry Potter-related trivia in the tour (although the main focus was very much Tolkien and Lewis). In addition, Rob provided so much history about Oxford's many colleges and their relevance to popular writers, artists, and academics who have ties to the city. The tour also doubled as a convenient way to get a broad sense of Oxford's geography, and as two newcomers, we really appreciated this added bonus. We couldn't have had a better tour guide or a more charming experience in this beautiful city. Highly recommended!

Superb tour.

One of the most knowledgable and informative tours I’ve been on. 2 hours flew by and we were entertained throughout. The guide, Rob Walters, had time for questions and took the tour at a perfect pace.

Rob Walters is amazing

We had a lovely guide, Rob Walters who made us feel like we were in those posh BBC documentaries. Tour was amazing and Rob has extensive knowledge about the city.
